RC-12 waterproof wireless minicam
Written by: Michael Keferl on April 19, 2008 at 11:58 pm | In DIGITAL LIFE | 1 CommentRF System Lab always seems to be coming out with innovative imaging devices for just about everything. From the tiny Sayaka endoscope that you actually swallow, to the Miharu intraoral camera, RF is one of the more creative companies out there finding new ways to help us see in difficult spots.

The RC-12 mini wireless camera is the size of a tiny toy car and can, if you want, actually broadcast live video from one if you mounted it to one. Japan certainly has its share of creative spycams, but the most interesting use of the RC-12, IMHO, is the waterproof casing. This allows you to drop it into an aquarium or pool, or strap it to an RC boat or sub for live broadcasting underwater.

The RC-12 can run for 45 minutes on the internal battery, and can broadcast up to 30 meters away, an impressive range for such a tiny camera.
